In August 2006, he was offered scholarship to pursue an MPhil/PhD programme to be employed as lecturer at the KNUST Kumasi.When pursuing the Doctor of Philosophy programme, the research he conducted was on the Asante Kingdom with the title ASANTE FOLKLORE AND KUMASI KIOSK ARCHITECTURE: A VISUAL EXPLORATION OF HIBRIDITY AND MYTHOGRAPHY. He completed the combined programme of Painting and Sculpture within two and half years, from August 6th, 2006 to February 9th, 2009. He however defended both his research thesis and a book transcribed from it on November 23 rd, 2011. With a red band around his head, his dress code which was a black funeral cloth (kuntunkuni) with white lacoste shirt and native sandals (Ahenema) stirred controversy, before his presentation, but with explanation, he was permitted to present. The presentation took a dramatic form of Ananse Storytelling technique at the end of which he received admiration and applause from the panel and audience. This research set four world records for KNUST and as such was displayed on the internet as ‘‘knust sets four world records at a pace.’’ With the above research title as the theme, a collapsible kiosk was thus constructed. The kiosk was a conglomeration of eight parts signifying the Unitarianism of the eight Asante Families. The inner and outer surfaces of the kiosk, as well as the ceiling and the floor were thus covered with conceptual paintings which portrayed the Totems, Folklore and Mythologies of the Eight Families of the Asantes. Because the kiosk symbolizes the unitary spirit of the Asantes which was represented by the GOLDEN STOOL, the kiosk was thus named THE GOLDEN KIOSK OF ASANTE. With brightly coloured paintings from the plethora of rich Asante folklore, mythology, proverbs and folktales, the GOLDEN KIOK was displayed at the KNUST Museum for a period of five years, February 2009 to May, 2014. The GOLDEN KIOSK OF ASANTES which, at present, has been collapsed and packed, is intended to be erected and displayed publicly again before being sold to a collector, connoisseur or curator. Dr. Tiger is an Educationist who has taught from the primary to the Senior High level as well as being a Demonstrator or Part-time Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for a period of three years. He is a Counsellor who, at the first degree, took the Peer Counselling course on part-time basis for a period of four years with the position as the ORGANIZING SECRETARY at the final year which was 2003/2004.
