PLEASE STOP DRINKING, SMOKING AND DRUGS
Jesus came to ensure the salvation of all humanity no matter the state or gravity of sin. He therefore said that; “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, KJV). This verse is very comforting because many young people are carrying heavy burdens from drugs, crime, rejection, and poverty. Like the quotation, this NGO, DR. TIGER YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION invites you to come to Christ without condemning you. When you give yourself to Jesus now, things will change in your life.
DR. TIGER YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION does not only preach the Gospel to you or any one going wayward or doing what God does not want, but also plans to rehabilitate, train, and empower such young people economically. Throughout Scripture, true ministry cares for both the spiritual and physical needs of people. As James wrote: “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace… notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” (James 2:15–16, KJV).
We all know that God created all of us. But one important thing is that, He created us in His own image (Genesis 1:26–27). That means He created us like He is, that is why He says we are His temple or place of worship or His House (1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19). Because of that, He does not want us to destroy His temple or house which is our body (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). Therefore each of us should see himself or herself as the place where God stays and because of that, the body should not be spoilt. The Bible says that if we destroy God’s temple, He will also destroy us (1 Corinthians 3:17).
What are some of the things that are not good and can destroy our body? The Bible mentioned fornication and said that it destroys the body (1 Corinthians 6:18). So if you are a prostitute, are you happy to destroy your body because of money? Apart from getting sickness like HIV, Gonorrhoea, or other STDs, God will punish you for destroying His temple (Galatians 6:7–8). Therefore, please think of it and stop immediately and go to hospital and check your health status and treat yourself. By the grace of God, I assure you that if there is any serious health problem, because you are giving yourself to Jesus.
But is fornication the only sin that can spoil the body? There are many other types of sins. Can you name me some of the sins? Some of the sins are;
- Murder or killing someone (Exodus 20:13; Matthew 5:21–22).
- Robbery or stealing (Exodus 20:15; Ephesians 4:28).
- Smoking or taking drugs like cocaine, heroin, red, tramadol, etc. (1 Corinthians 6:19–20; 2 Corinthians 7:1).
Not only that, the Bible says that anything we do in secret is a sin (Ephesians 5:11–13; Luke 12:2–3). Anything that you hide before you do is therefore a sin. Why don’t we smoke weed or take cocaine or other drugs where people can see us? That is because it is not a good thing. If it is not a good thing, why do you allow it to make you a slave? (John 8:34; Romans 6:16). There will be a time you cannot stop it no matter how hard you try.
Apart from that, have you considered your health? Do you know that weed or cigarette smoking can destroy your body? (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). And if that happens, you will be in pain for a long time before you die. Apart from that, you are going to be judged by God when you die (Hebrews 9:27; 2 Corinthians 5:10). That means you are going to hell (Matthew 25:41,46; Revelation 20:14–15). Even prison is a place no one wants to be. So if no one wants to be in a place where there is no fire, who wants to be in hell, where there is everlasting fire? (Mark 9:43–48). I know your answer is no.
We are therefore advising you, or begging you, to put a stop immediately to save your health as the first step and also to avoid going to Hell after your death (Acts 3:19). I know that at times it is very difficult to stop smoking or taking drugs, but if you cannot personally stop, there is medication that can be given to help you stop. Then after that, give yourself to Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20; John 1:12). There is a church working with this NGO to save lives from sickness like kidney failure and others and at times even madness.
After giving yourself to Jesus, a pastor from THE SAVIOUR CHURCH OF GHANA will come and baptize you in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38; Acts 10:48). But before being baptized, you will have to confess all your sins or bad things that you know you have done and then ask for forgiveness from God (1 John 1:9; Proverbs 28:13). Then ask Him to help you to live a new life that is good and would make God happy with you (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 12:1–2). That was what the Apostles of Jesus taught all Christians (Acts 2:38–42). Even though now many Christian churches have stopped because they feel shy to confess their sins (James 5:16).
After baptizing you, this NGO will supply you with one laptop and one phone for each of you to start a new type of business called Forex Trading. You shall be given training to acquire skills in Forex trading. After the training, you shall be given an amount of money to start life as a Forex trader. If you cannot read or use a computer, or you do not like Forex trading, we shall give you training to become a master of a skill. We shall then give you some money for you to start your own business.
From then you will live a new happy life as a Christian and people will respect you (Matthew 5:16). God will also bless you to become a great man or woman, to marry and take care of your family and also do good to others (Deuteronomy 28:1–14; Ephesians 2:10). With this new life, when you die, you will be with God in Heaven (John 14:1–3; Revelation 21:1–4).
